We had a fab year last year that saw our mobile crèche travel to weddings all over the UK, to Wales, the Malverns, Birmingham and as far North as Yorkshire.
The bookings that we get further afield tend to be for weddings and conferences, we have listed a couple of case studies below to give you an idea of a couple of our favourites from last year.
Hafod farm wedding crèche in North Wales
Outdoor wedding creches in Wales are becoming more popular, we loved being outside because of the amazing views. Hafod Farm is in Snowdonia and has a selection of marquees, a barn for the ceremony, a bar and camping. Our client had requested a crèche with space in the wedding breakfast marquee just in case of rain. Very happily though it was a lovely day and there was also a bouncy castle. We had a selection of activities from arts and crafts, ball pool, den building, balloon modelling, music and toys. We managed the site with a couple of nannies. The adults were able to enjoy the wedding breakfast and a glass of fizz knowing there was a place the kids could go.
We venture over to Cheshire a fair amount, it is a very popular destination for weddings and it was also the location of our very first wedding crèche at Chester Zoo (we mentioned our first wedding crèche in this post: http://www.blueyandbaloo.co.uk/blog/2017/01/25/expert-wedding-tips/ ). As previously mentioned, we ventured over to Styal Lodge last year, they have a lovely room which is used for lots of different reasons, for us it’s a fab space to use for a wedding crèche. The space has its own loo and is right next to the paved garden. Our client had booked us for both indoor and outdoor care, we sent our nannies outside whenever the children wanted to go and had a nanny indoors during the times there were children in the play room. Parents also visited and it was rather a lot of following around. Our latest toy – the whizzy dizzy was very popular and the ball pool was also a favourite at this booking. Other locations in Cheshire include Nunsmere Hall and garden weddings.
