Since purchasing the caravan in March our plans to create a mobile sensory space have progressed nicely.
We initially started by crowdfunding in April, over £300 was raised and this enabled us to renew the electrics, buy sensory toys and a tap.
Our next mission was decoration and we received a very generous donation form Brewers decorator centres which enabled us to decorate the inside of the caravan in eco friendly and vintage colours.
Further fundraising raffles and events enabled us to buy more toys and arts and crafts and purchase flooring.
In April and May Minnie won Liverpool Soup. Soup is a community crowdfunding event in which the money people pay to attend is collected and subsequently awarded to the winner. The money we won is going to be paying for the caravan exterior to be graphic wrapped and sign written sometime soon.
Most recently we have had some success fundraising with Norwex, I have signed up as a sales consultant and have donated all commission to Minnie. This month we have raised £78 which has enabled me to buy a Duplo train set.
